Breakfast is served from 08:30 till 10:00. Restaurant Caracol's kitchen team employs both passion and patience when working with the freshest of ingredients and regional produce, including beef from local cattle that have grazed on the island, line-caught bass, organic vegetables; partly from the hotel's own garden, as well as home grown (edible) flowers. The kitchen is open from 17:00, and is closed on Tuesday. The restaurant has been awarded a 'fork and spoon' by the culinary world's leading authority, the Michelin guide.

Terschelling is great for those who love walking, cycling and water sports. The island has charming little villages and cosy venues for a nice night out. A visit to the Brandaris, the oldest and most famous lighthouse in the Netherlands, is also recommended. And the celebrated Oerol theatre festival attracts many visitors each year.
