Terschelling is a West Frisian Island that originated in the Middle Ages. It is now known for its quaint villages, laid-back nightlife, and most of all for its annual theatre festival, Oerol. “Prachtig hotel maar helaas harde bedden”
- prachtig uitzicht, geweldig ontbijt
- Harde bedden en voor een room Superior Seaside verwacht je toch ook badjassen en een attentie op de kamer. Voor dit bedrag hoort ook de Saunatoegang in de kamerprijs te zitten.

“Get the computer link improved; get a new contract.”
- Outstanding room location with a great view. Wonderful breakfasts. We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a wonderful hotel and we were quite happy with it. (My father was born on Terschelling.)
- It was rather strange that the computer sat in the lobby with a sign: \"defekt\" the whole time we were there. It was explained that someone had to come from the mainland to fix it. Why T-Mobile could not send someone in five days is beyond me. Could the hotel not have a second computer available? Could not the computer be sent to the mainland? Even better, why not hire someone on the island to fix the computer right away? At Amrath Hotel Frans Hals in Haarlem we had free use of the computer in the lobby. It is not right for a four star hotel to advertise use of a computer and then not have one working, even when there is a charge for usage! It is also not that easy to use a computer in the village. At the VVV you can only receive mail and not send emails. This was a minor disturbance, but I was surprised at the attitude of the service personnel. I was on vacation but ten minutes of computer usage could have saved me expensive phone calls related to my professional work as a university professor. I have to attend a conference April 15-19th, immediately upon my return to Canada. Luckily I speak Dutch. There is no efficient use of English, German or French. For example, there is no information in the room in any of those three international languages.

- I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel restuarant was good. The breakfast was good. The staff was nice. Next time I think I will choose a room with a seaside view.

- Overall friendly hosts
- The hotel uses many junior employees. That is fine, but then there always should be a senior employee around, that one can approach.We experienced several cases where the promised action did not pass through, such as a requested taxi for 7:00AM that was not there. Also charges that were incorrect, because already paid in cash. When challenged they were then handled adequately.

- Ik heb op de enquette in uw hotel al aangegeven wat de minpunten zijn zoals te weinig privacy op het balcon en slechte stoelen en geen tafel op balcon. Dus hierbij nogmaals mijn mening!!
