Sit in the trendy seats on the outdoor terrace of the Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin, breathe in the salty sea air and enjoy a view of the vast North Sea. Many of the rooms also look out onto the dunes, the beach and the sea. The rooms come with a toilet and shower, a television and a telephone. The Seaview and Comfort Seaview rooms also feature a kitchenette with a fridge.
The hotel is also a very attractive option for business travellers. It is possible to organise meetings or conferences here and include or even round them off with fun activities on the beach or by the sea. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel does, however, have specially designated smoking areas.
Surroundings
Strandhotel Het Hoge Duin is close to the beach and the North Sea. The hotel offers bike hire, allowing you to take a beautiful tour through the dunes of Kennemerland. In nearby Beverwijk guests can visit the Bazaar and spend an afternoon sifting through merchandise, while soaking up oriental cultures. A 30-minute drive will take you to De Zaanse Schans area, where you can see authentic historic houses and a magnificent row of old windmills.
Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:00. From 10:00 onwards, breakfast can also be served in your room at a surcharge of €20 p.p. The restaurant is open from 18:00 until 21:30 (closed on Sunday).

Children/extra beds: An extra bed or cot can only be added in the Room with Seaview and the Comfort Room Seaview. Children aged 2 and under are free. Before i was Never Seeing such a romentic Place in my life. In my Stay in your Hotel i am so closed to my Husband and i didnt forget the remembering
The only negative Point is i have No More Time to spend more Holidays with my Husband because i have so much work in my Office but really i didnt forget the Wohle two days remembering in that Place

personeel heel gastvrij...onze comfort kamer zeer ruim en schoon....het hotel staat op een toplocatie aan de kust.mits je zeezicht boekt
hoogovens erg aanwezig.....schreeuwende kinderen op het terras en ik vind dat ze het ontbijt wel moeten bijvullen..als het op is heb je pech

Good position, good breakfast helpful staff.
Good position, very close to beach. Close to the bulb fields, Keukenhof and Haarlem.
Good parking either in hotel or very close free parking when the hotel was busy.
We thought the restaurant was expensive, but this proved to be about average for the area.

Good parking, either in hotel or adjacent free parking when hotel busy. Nice spacious room, veranda overlooking sea.
Nearby restaurants.
Good breakfast.
Hotel floodlight dazzled us on the veranda in the evening, but they turned them off after we mentioned the problem. (Only a problem when it was warm enough to sit out, blackout curtains very good.)
Restaurant expensive, but they all were similar in the area.
Fridge in the room not very effective.

Jammer dat het achter de bar een zakie was. Jongelui doen erg hun best, misschien hier en daar wat meer sturing daarin.

The hotel is great, it is just on the dunes in front of the beach, the view from there is really nice.
The rooms are big and the beds and bathrooms also. The breakfast is very good and goes from 6:30 till 11 am.
It was a pitty that we couldn't stay longer, I would definetly stay there again.

nice location, low room prices, good food, bikes for rent.
not clean rooms, bad and old bathroom\toilet equipment, several burned out bulbs in the room, wending machine was only for sugar drinks - no food or water available, small parking.

Location was perfect. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.
Room quality was very poor, Hard metal bed from a bunk bed. Restaurant was closed due to party. Room was also overlooking car park and small children were entring room through window,

Staff helpfull and polite, rooms and hotel in general very clean. balcony room with a great veiw. Good continental breakfast. ten min walk to shops, cafes, bars, bus-stop. beach two min walk with all needs catered for. beach safe and clean.
kids play park at hotel was still under construction when i was there. Looked almost complete which will give kids a good safe area to play.
