Hotel Petit Restaurant Congres Kasteel Wittem is a perfect location for a pleasant stay in beautiful surroundings. The monumental building dates from the 11th century. During the Middle Ages, Castle Wittem used to be a moated castle with seven towers. One tower remains from this period. What's more, both Emperor Charles V and William of Orange were guests at the castle during the 16th century.
The hotel has 10 luxurious Castle Rooms and 2 Tower Suites. All rooms come with a flatscreen TV and an ensuite bathroom. On the castle’s sunny terraces you can enjoy lunch or a cup of coffee with a slice of traditional Limburg flan.
Hotel Petit Restaurant Congres Kasteel Wittem is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful countryside and visit charming places such as Maastricht, Aachen and Valkenburg. South Limburg is a true golfer's paradise. There are as many as eight golf courses within a radius of 25 km around Castle Wittem, varying from 18-hole courses to a 36-hole course in the Belgian village of Henri-Chapelle.
The municipality of Gulpen-Wittem lies in the valley of the Geul river. It has a lovely shopping area with heated outdoor terraces where you can enjoy a beer from the local Gulpener brewery. The Gulp river flows through the centre of the village. The village has a subtropical swimming paradise and a Climbing & Adventure Centre.

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen met een drankje naar keuze. Fijne ontspannen en vriendelijke sfeer, mooie kamer. Lekker uitgebreid ontbijt dat aan tafel wordt geserveerd. Er is geen avondrestaurant maar er werd voor ons een tafeltje gereserveerd waar we naar toe werden gebracht.
Wij kunnen er geen bedenken.
