Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Wolfheze lies in the beautiful nature area of the Veluwe, near Arnhem. The hotel is easy to reach from the A50 and A12 motorways, and is just 2 kilometres from Wolfheze railway station. The comfortable hotel rooms come with a bath and shower and a balcony or a patio. The hotel also offers numerous sports facilities. Practice your serve on the tennis court or swim a few laps in the pool. Golfing enthusiasts will love the pitch & putt golf course. Fancy some peace and quiet? Take a stroll through the surrounding garden and breathe in the fresh woods. And for some ultimate relaxation, you can head to the sauna and solarium.
Early birds are in for a treat on Sundays when a forester sets out at 10:30 on a special walking tour. This walk is free, providing there is enough interest. An excellent opportunity to get acquainted with this beautiful area. But it's also easy to explore the Hoge Veluwe National Park by yourself, because there are plenty of walking and cycling paths.
If you have enough time you can visit the Kröller-Müller Museum, where you can admire work by Piet Mondrian and Vincent van Gogh. The museum is surrounded by a beautiful sculpture garden. Hotel Wolfheze is also near Arnhem; a great shopping city boasting a vibrant nightlife scene with plenty of cafés and restaurants. Also highly recommended is a trip to Burgers' Zoo, where visitors can wander through the African Savannah, a mangrove forest and even a desert.
Surroundings
Fletcher Hotel - Restaurant Wolfheze is surrounded by scented woods and sprawling meadows. Hop on your bike or head out on foot and discover the Hoge Veluwe National Park with its many species of flora and fauna. The Ouwehands Dierenpark in Rhenen, Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem, and Arnhem's city centre are all easy to reach from the hotel. A wide range of brochures as well as walking and cycling routes are available at the hotel reception.
Food and Drink
The extensive breakfast consists of artisan breads, organic dairy, natural fruit juices, and a selection of fruits and homemade jams. In restaurant 'De Tuin van Wolfheze', head chef Dion Wouters and her team source local produce which is handled with respect and used to create delicious dishes. Highly recommended is the organic Blaarkop beef from local cattle farmer Jan Wierenga, and dishes made using Wolfheze honey from the hotel's very own bee hives. The menu changes every three months. A select menu is available between 11:00 and 16:30, and a dinner menu is available between 16:30 and 21:00.

I stayed in a single room, it's very clean
It's very small... not even worth a picture taken and sent to families / friends...
“My tip: nice remote please, yet quite close to cities (lest than half an hour). ”

This is located in a lovely spot; I was here for business so I could not explore the environment but with a bit more time, a walk or a bike ride in the woods would have been great. Good price and excellent breakfast. Did not have time to try the swimming pool :(
My room (145) was very noisy. Perhaps next to a hot water tank or so. It kept m awake much of the night. Frustrating, as the hotel is in such a quiet spot, Avoid this room!!
“My tip: Avoid room 145 - noisy! Leave yourself time for a swim and for making use of the outside facilities”

Loved the pool - first time we have swum in an indoor pool in Europe that was lovely and warm. And a good size. Thanks !
Lovely meal at the Bistro but the long wait for food was difficult for our child and our hungry stomachs !

front desk staff were helpful in answering questions about nearby community services (ex: local ATM and restaurants), proding local drining directions, and translating the Dutch on their restaurant menu into English for us;
hotel\'s parklike setting was attractive, and in a reasonable location for the attractions we wished to visit in the Arnhem area
cleaning staff spoke neither English nor German (our two languages)making it hard to communicate with our limited, almost nonexistant, Dutch

A really nice romantic hotel in the forest. Easy access to transportation. Good bikes for rent.
The remote for the television was really dirty and the bin had not been emptied after last guests.

Good breakfast with lots of choice. Good heated swimming pool and the water was not too cold. Small sauna attached. Would definitely return again especially as lots to do in the area.
Restaurant a little expensive which put us off trying it during our stay as we only wanted a basic meal.

you can hear some traffic noise from the nearby road but it does not intrude too much - I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel - food and service very good. Shame we only had one night here. Would visit again in the future.
Directions to hotel from map on the internet very misleading! No signs to the hotel once in Wolfheze.
