Excellent, helpful staff, clean and comfortable room

The receptionist on Sat5th Jan was extremely polite and helpful

Happy with room and value for money

The hotel was very comfortable and the room was perfect for a short business trip with free wifi in the room etc. - I had the extra seating area which I didn't really need. Very handy position for the nearby company I was visiting.

Breakfast was fairly low quality and overpriced at €13 extra - bacon and very overcooked scrambled eggs is your only choice for a cooked breakfast from the buffet. A long walk from the station but the weather was exceptionally nice and sunny!

Worst hotel I have stayed in Amsterdam and Area

Room OK

Staff not at all friendly, room was not serviced until asked at 6 in the evening. Late checkout requested, refused!! Very noisy traffic, day and night, next to intersection. Toiletry bag left behind, told it must have been thrown away. Paper cups in rooms. I visit Amsterdam about once a month and this has been the worst hotel I have stayed. Unlikely that I will stay in a Bastion hotel again, there is far better quality and value for money out there

the location is very good not to far from amsterdam and other places . i enjoyn my stay. it was not a hole day but i had to get back to rotterdam .

clean, comfortable, nice rooms, good breakfast and fair choicer in evening menu.

Noisy road outside, poor position for south Amsterdam (traffic jams at peak times), a bit \'out in the sticks\' so nothing of interest within walking distance

very helpful; counter staff. When i needed to phone someone in a room, no problem. Taxis ordered when asked and turned up when required. A very enjoyable stay

Double bed would have been nice

Slept weel both nights.

The restaurant closet at 21.00 Sunday, even if you have told me it was open until 23.00. The TV channels were poor and there was snow on all channels. Most annoying.

Good space in the room. Car Park. Nice hotel for the price. Well welcomed at the desk.

Towels were a little bit stained. Mini Bar was not restocked when the room had been cleaned. The booking was not taken into considération apparently in the hotel\'s computer (but we had a room). Shower system very difficult to use. Impossible to have some more pillows. Far from public transport. Difficult to join the desk (the desk phone number was not on the room phone).

The staff was very helpful.

We would have preferred a larger bed.
