The ninth, tenth and eleventh floors of the former headquarters of Ahold have been transformed into easyHotel Amsterdam Zaandam. As a result, the hotel enjoys a splendid location with a stunning view. Zaandam railway station is just a 3-minute walk away, making a trip to Amsterdam, Haarlem or the Zaanse Schans easy to do.

The hotel does not offer breakfast. However, you can enjoy breakfast at Bagels & Beans on the Stadhuisplein 84, Zaandam, a minute's walk away. There are vending machines in the hotel offering drinks and snacks.

The nearby railway station makes it easy to travel in all directions. Amsterdam Central is just a 15-minute train ride away and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is 18 minutes. What's more, the city of Haarlem is just 30 minutes away by train. A trip to the Zaanse Schans, the Tsar Peterhouse, or the Monet art route are also recommended.

- The hotel employs a unique concept, which means that the rooms are equipped in a basic manner. A surcharge will apply for the use of a hair dryer, for example.
