Groningen Buiten, located west of the city of Groningen, offers rural and fully furnished studios for longer rental periods. This former farm, where cows were milked and sheep were sheared until 2010, has been transformed into an oasis of peace and nature. The rental complex is mainly aimed at people who have an immediate need for housing, such as after a relationship breakdown or as a result of fire and storm damage. Because reservations are not possible, the availability of the studios is communicated via social media channels. Guests are welcomed into a hospitable and cozy environment, living in harmony with the current residents: chickens, guinea fowl, goats and cats.
