BuitenHerberg Ter Linde lies on the outskirts of Zuidwolde and is surrounded by farmland with fields encircled by historic wooden banks, woods, heathlands and meres. The river Reest meanders its way through the coutryside in the quietly situated area of Reestdal, on the border of the provinces of Drenthe and Overijssel; a truly wonderful area for walking and cycling.

Breakfast is served from Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 until 10:00. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant. The bar is open from 12:00 until midnight, and the restaurant is open from 12:00 until 21:00. On Monday and Tuesday, the restaurant is closed. The excellent dishes are prepared with fresh and mostly regional produce. The menus are tailored to the seasons.

The surroundings of BuitenHerber ter Linde offer plenty of things to see and do. Thermen Holiday Sauna & Beautycenter Zuidwolde houses several saunas, pools and relaxation areas.
