Restinn Aartswoud offers its guests a great time in a very special way. Except for a double bed in a cosy apartment in the middle of the property of the farm of family Nieuweboer, guests can enjoy the luxury of a real hotel. Each morning, the hostess of Restinn Aartswoud comes around to serve a delicious breakfast. And on request, she can prepare a particularly tasty dinner on the spot.

Every morning, the hostess serves a lovely and extensive breakfast at your own hotel-home. Lunch packages are also available (at an additional charge). You don't need to leave for dinner either. On request, the same friendly lady serves a luscious 2- or 3-course dinner in the evening. Dinner time is decided in consultation. You can choose between various meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and a matching wine can be enjoyed with it. In the mini-bar, several drinks, snacks and sweets are provided for the guests.

In the polders of the province of Noord-Holland lies Restinn Aartswoud. Before the impoldering this old fishing village Aartswoud was situated by the sea Zuiderzee (which is now the lake IJsselmeer). In Enkhuizen, in the museum Zuiderzeemuseum you can learn all about the interesting history of this region. The nearby old town of Medemblik is also very nice to visit, including the cheese weighing-house, Radboud Castle that dates back to 1288, and several historic warehouses, buildings and mills.

The Nieuweboer family runs a successful stock farm. 140 cows graze on its 70 hectares of pasture land, while corn and tulips are also grown around farm. The location of the farm is very beautiful, with views of the area's typical villages, such as Aartswoud, Hoogwoud, Abbekerk and De Weere.

- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until 19:00 and it is not possible to arrive later than 19:00.
