It is easy to believe you may have left the Netherlands all together in the peaceful village of Beesel. Narrow streets leading you up and down this hilly setting form the street scene of this provincial Limburg village. Herberg De Bongerd offers a particular hospitality which is so typical of Limburg. Bicycles are available for hire at the hotel, on request.

Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 10:00 h from Monday to Friday, and at weekends from 08:00 to 10:30 h. The former front rooms of the farmhouse now house the restaurant <i>De Hoeskamer van Toos</i>, also a non-smoking area. In the afternoon guests can order something from the small menu. The restaurant opens for dinner service at 17:00 h. It is recommended to make reservations in advance. Herberg de Bongerd also has three outdoor terraces, where guests are able to order something to eat.

Herberg de Bongerd is situated in Beesel, a small village in Midden-Limburg. True nature lovers will enjoy a visit to the National Park De Meinweg. The large water sports area <i>De Maasplassen</i> offers many recreational possibilities. A visit to the picturesque white village of Thorn is also highly recommended. Here you will find impressive historical farmhouses and monumental buildings. Both Roermond and Venlo are only 12 kilometres away, if you fancy an afternoon of shopping or relaxing in an outdoor café.
