The hotel is established in two buildings with plenty of characteristic features. The hotel has a spacious lobby and a breakfast area, and the ample terrace is a lovely spot for enjoying a nice drink and a dish from the menu.

An elaborate breakfast buffet is served every morning from 08:00 until 10:30. A lunch hamper can also be prepared for you, on request. Restaurant Studlers is open all week for both lunch and dinner.

Bergen has been known as an artists' town for over a century. A visit to Museum Kranenburgh or the area of Park Meerwijk will provide a good insight into the rich history of this town; a place that was also particularly popular amongst writers and architects because of its good location. The vast North Sea beach is just 6 kilometres from the town centre, whilst the city of Alkmaar is only 20 kilometres away.
