Hotel het Wapen van Delden is located in green surroundings that form the perfect backdrop for long walks and cycling tours. Bicycles are available for rent at the hotel as well. Maps explaining the routes can be supplied free of charge. The excellent bikes have no less than seven gears. After a day spent outside, guests can unwind in the indoor swimming pool that is free of charge. The temperature of the water is kept at a pleasant 29°C. The sauna can be reserved for private use at a charge of €7 per person. For a nice tan you can make use of the 'Power Tower'. This ultra modern solarium gives extra power for quick tanning.
Start your day with a delicious English breakfast buffet, available Monday to Friday from 06:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 10:30. For lunch and dinner you can visit the cosy café-restaurant, with a choice of à la carte dishes and alternating daily specials. Or simply relax with a drink by the fireplace.
Hotel het Wapen van Delden is situated just outside the town. The historic Delden is certainly worth a visit. A large part of the inner city dates back to the period that Delden obtained city rights in 1333. The famous castle 'Twickel' can be found here, which is surrounded by a large estate with several farm houses, a beautiful wind mill and unique herb garden.
- The hotel does not have a 24-hour reception. Guests can check in until midnight. - Pets are allowed for €8 a night, but are not allowed to enter the restaurant.

“Lovely Hotel.”
- Really excellent hotel, totally immaculate. cant complain about anything. Big double beds in very large room. Had diinner and breakfast , both were very good. Quiet location with tube access to town. Lots of parking and good if you have an oversize vehicle or pulling a trailer. Will use again

- Beautiful Hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast was well presented and lots of it too. Infact we liked it so much, we've already booked to go back at the end of April.
- It is a little out of the way, for instance we went into Enschede by Taxi, which cost us €48.50 One Way!

“Football Fans going to Twente”
- We have stayed here several times. Good location in Twente area of Holland. Come and go as you please. You even get to cook your own bacon and eggs for breakfast. Dinner excellent; Grossen Pork Schitzel is quite a challenge! BBC1 and BBC2 in your room.
- Doors bang shut throughout. Bar could be open later :-)

“Staying at this hotel was a pleasant experience”
- The Hotel was excellent, in a pleasant location and within easy reach of the motorway. The staff were friendly and helpfull and the 'Continental Breakfast' was a surprise, with the range and choice of dishes exceeding all expectations. I will certainly stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it to my friends.
- There was a tendency for noise in the area of the rooms with the sound of opening/closiing dooors being noticeable.

- Excellent food; wonderful choice for breakfast. Friendly staff - and everyone spoke good English!
- Quite a few mosquitoes in the room, and I got bitten 28 times! But it was very humid weather and I am rather sensitive to bites. Also it would have been good to have had some brochures in English for places to visit in the area.
