It was clean and also very basic. Receptionists were very good and helpful.
There was no facility for making either a cup of tea or coffee in the room. There were no throw away face cloths, something we had forgotten to pack. These were not available by the reception either. Two single beds were wobbly and noisy when we turned in bed. At breakfast, even though not busy, neither of the two young people on duty cleared away our used crockery etc. They stood and watched it pile up, and did not clear. They had nothing else to do.

This hotel is very good Even the standard rooms are of very high quality, clean and air conditioned. Free delicious breakfast buffet with huge verities, Free parking lot, very comfortable lobby and terrace - we couldn 39 t expect more for the for the price we 39 ve paid. Very cordial and homely service. Very quite and calm location which is only few minutes to the highway.

location (it's quite a bit out of town) but it is accessible by public transport if you don't want to drive. its a 15 min walk through a quite rustic area to the stop

Just did exactly what was needed
unfortunately, I had an evening meal at the Van Der Valk sister hotel over the A16 motorway and eat the monkfish which gave me a poorly stomach the next morning. I reported this to the desk at the van Der Valk the next day. Postillion was good

Great and friendliest staff, go out of their way to help and provide service.
No electric water-heater in the room to make late coffee, found out departure that due to theft, it ll be provided on request

Un lieu calme et un bel endroit. La salle de bain est assez spacieuse. Le mobilier est complet petite garde-robes, penderie, bureau... Le petit déjeuner est bien garni, varié et à volonté.
Difficultés de communication Le personnel ne parle et ne comprend pas du tout le Français. Les lits doubles sont en réalité séparés. Matelas un peu trop mouspour le dos. Les portes des chambres sont à carte et non à code. 10h pour la fin de service petit-déjeuner est un peu tôt quand on a fait la fête toute la nuit.

We liked the proximity to downtown Dordrecht. We very much enjoyed the rainshower and the delicious buffet breakfast.
We were not too happy with the crack in the bed. And the duvets were not very warm.

Nothing to complain - friendly and helpful staff, good sized comfy room and nice breakfast.
Only down side is that we were given a room with a broken shower enclosure at the start but was quickly relocated to another by the friendly staff.
