“We love Hotel Emmeloord and the new Suite 230 ”
- Welcoming, friendly, courteous staff. Hand written welcome card very nice touch. Lovely suite 230....spacious, quiet, stylishly and comfortably furnished in retro look. Great bed. Huge shower. Nice details. Quiet inside and out (large very private balcony with country views). Good housekeeping. Excellent breakfast. Quality towels, robes and linens. Generous minibar and coffee station. Excellent breakfast. Good parking. Close to many places of interest. One of our favourite hotels (4th or 5th visit in 18 months).

“I was not able to open a window, the room was too warm. The mirror bad”
- the food was ok.
- I was not able to open a window, which is not normal. If you opened the door everybody could enter. I almost couldn t sleep, because it was too hot in the room. The mirror in the bathroom was placed that high that it was not possible to look into the mirror the cranes were of the 19th century. I wasn t satisfied at all.

“The same standard in all your hotels.”
- The personnel is always polite and smiling. The rooms are always spotless. Very big choice at breakfast and evening meals very tasty.
- The only negative point was the lack of light in our room. Even with side and over head lighting the room was in semi darkness.

“Nice...but could be SO much better. ”
- Stylish bedroom, large bathroom. Nice atmosphere in the Lobby/Bar area. Reception staff lovely and helpful.
- No tea/coffee faciltiies in room. Beds soft. No direct heating controls in the room (woken up by other guests - too hot - needed a drink - couldn't anything about anything at 3am in the morning!) Better lighting needed too...

- They can never get my name right - not even after this, the 6th or 7th visit in the last couple of years. Complaints from me at every stay and apologies from them at every stay. I have finally persuaded our head office (holding 16 small/medium companies) to stop recommending this group.
