Motel Koolen in Velp is located near the old fortified town of Grave with its old Jesuit monastery. In the area are two other fortified towns, namely Ravenstein and Batenburg. In Batenburg and Wijchen are several castles surrounded by beautiful nature and they are definitely worth a visit.
