Hotel Het Heerenlogement Harlingen is located on the water in the heart of Harlingen. The rooms are decorated in different styles and come with a bath and/or shower, a toilet, a telephone, a television and WiFi. The hotel furthermore has an excellent restaurant.
An extensive breakfast buffet is served in the pleasant breakfast area every morning. Breakfast is available on Tuesday to Friday from 06:00 until 09:30, and on Saturday to Monday from 07:30 until 10:00. The hotel has a spacious but atmospheric restaurant with a good chef. The select menu features tasty Frisian-inspired dishes that are prepared with attention. The homely bar offers a lovely spot to relax after dinner, with a well-stocked bookcase and board games. And guests can take a seat on the outdoor terrace during nice weather.
Hotel 't Heerenlogement is just one of numerous buildings with an interesting history in Harlingen. The town has more than 500 monuments and Harlingen is still a flourishing port today. If you visit the harbour, you'll see large ocean vessels transporting cargo from all over the world.
Private boat owners enjoy visiting Harlingen thanks to the many mooring places available. There are also plenty of opportunities to hire a boat and take a long trip yourself. What's more, ferries to the West Frisian Islands depart several times a day making it easy to visit Terschelling or Vlieland on a day trip.

“Great Hotel Great Staff”
- Quaint hotel with dining room near ferry to the islands. We were taking the ferry to the island the next day and the cook came in early so that we could eat breakfast before we left. Staff was friendly and most accommodating.
- narrow stairs are a hassle with suit cases but the attentive staff quickly took our suitcases to our rooms

- Room was old and did not feel clean. Carpet was full of stains and very dirty looking. Same for the bedding. Old threadbare and desperately in need of replacing. Pillow hard and compacted from use.

- The entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. We are traveling by bicycle and they gave us the key to the garage where the bikes were stored securely and out of the weather. The food was excellent in the restaurant and staff friendly and accomodating.
- The steep stairway is common in the Netherlands and can be difficult for those out of shape. It was not a problem for us.

- - Bar + reatuarant in hotel - Location: along channel + no disturbing noice - Friendly - Nice breakfast - Possible to get a family room
- - Rooms were ok but not more (however very clean) - No elevator and a very steep stairs. Rooms were on 2nd floor (ground floor, 1st and 2nd floor)
