Hotel Lemmer is located on the edge of the centre of Lemmer. This pleasant and authentic water-sports town really comes to life during the summer. The many harbours are then bristling with boats and the outdoor terraces in the town centre are packed. The broad, sandy beach of the IJsselmeer offers some much-needed alleviation on hot, sunny days. The hotel has three seperate buildings: 'De Mastenmakerij', 'it Heechhus' and 'de Zeilmakerij'.Hotel Lemmer's central location makes it a great base from which to explore all the facets of this beautiful town.

An excellent breakfast buffet is served daily from 08:30 to 10:00 in the attractively furnished breakfast room. It is also possible to have breakfast earlier, on request.Hotel Lemmer does not have a restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants in the direct vicinity.

Lemmer is located in the municipality 'De Fryske Marren' ('The Frisian Lakes'), next to the IJsselmeer and the Groote Brekken lakes. The surrounding lakes of Tjeukemeer and Slotermeer are easily accessible by boat via the many canals. De Fryske Marren is a beautiful area, perfect for lovely walking and cycling trips. The nearby Noordoostpolder is also very suitable for days out. Hotel Lemmer is a great accommodation if you wish to explore a special part of the Netherlands.

A return visit and surrounding building developments were of much interest. Took part in Service at CWGC Graves in Lemmer Cemetary.

The B B was a great find. It was two blocks from the Centrum, very clean well maintained. The owner and staff were very accommodating for us and our bikes.
The room was a little small but adequate for our needs.

“Charming small hotel in a delightful little Friesland port”

Tasteful decor. Charming, helpful owner. Superb breakfast with lots of healthy options. 5-minuite walk to harbour area with wide choice of restaurants.. Lemmer is an attractive, small town with interesting wartime RAFconnections and aircrew graves in the local cemetery.
Good beds but rather soft for back sufferers.

Temperature of the room did variate quite alot. There was no heating during the night. In the morning it was ok again.
