Hotel Iselmar is located just outside of Lemmer, between the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer. The hotel offers spa facilities, including a swimming pool, a sauna and a Turkish steam bath; all of which are available free of charge during opening hours. It is possible to book an appointment with the (sports) masseur, who offers a variety of relaxing treatments.

The hotel offers an extensive breakfast buffet, Monday-Friday from 07:00-10:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00-11:00. For lunch and dinner, the kitchen is open until 7 p.m. and you can reserve a table between 12 noon and 6 p.m. In the bar you can enjoy a drink and a snack. The bar is open until 10pm.

Lemmer has a nice centre with traditional Dutch cafés and lovely waterfront terraces. This fishing village boasts many sights including the old sluice, the Ir. D.F. Woudagemaal steam-powered pumping station and the museum of Lemster Fiifgea. The IJsselmeer beach is a short walk away and you'll find numerous other interesting places in the direct vicinity, including the picturesque towns of Sloten, Stavoren and Hindeloopen.
