De Aquamarijn's scenic setting will make your stay an extra special one. The beautiful landscape of Drenthe with its centuries-old chestnut trees and the B&B's characteristic architecture provide a peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 06:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 10:00. The restaurant at the Bed & Breakfast is open from 17:00 until 20:00. The bar in the farm's relaxation area is open throughout the day.

The former residence of Vincent van Gogh (Nieuw Amsterdam) and the only town in Drenthe with a castle (Coevorden) are connected by the Stieltjeskanaal. Situated along this waterway is Landhotel de Aquamarijn, a charming bed & breakfast. This old, renovated farmhouse boasts an authentic on-site bakehouse. The nature-abundant province of Drenthe is ideal for walking and cycling trips. Or explore the Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen, only 10 kilometres away. Kids will also love the indoor theme park Plopsaland in Coevorden.

An authentic bakehouse - now converted into a luxury apartment - is situated next to the farm. Fruit and vegetables were once cooked and canned here before the renovation. Decorated in keeping with the local Drenthe style, the apartment now features a traditional kitchen fitted with all the necessary mod cons; including a fridge, a kettle and crockery. The dining and cosy living area offer a homely atmosphere while the authentic Dutch closeable box bed will ensure a snug night's sleep. Garden doors open out on to the patio. The perfect spot to soak up the sun and beautiful green scenery.
