The beach is a 30-minute drive away from Golden Tulip L'Escaut Hotel Terneuzen. In the old fortified town of Hulst you can walk across the 3.5-kilometre-long city walls. The island of Walcheren and the beautiful cities of Middelburg and Vlissingen are only a 30-minute drive away through the Westerschelde Tunnel. The Belgian cities of Ghent and Antwerp and the romantic city of Bruges are also well worth visiting.
