Medemblik lies near Wervershoof, the smallest and oldest town in the region of West-Friesland. Its rich history is reflected in attractions such as Radboud Castle, the Dutch steam machine museum and the steam train that runs between Hoorn and Medemblik. You can enjoy wakling, cycling and water sports in the vicinity of Bed & Breakfast Dirosa and you'll find various beaches along the North Sea coast and the IJsselmeer lake.
